Since our inception in 1997, CCA has consistently hosted exhibitions of work that previously may not have been shown, as this work was not necessarily considered commercially valuable to the regional marketplace. One of the values in establishing an exhibition space at CCA7 is that the exhibitions are committed to artistic and cultural freedom rather than financial viability. We are very encouraged by the responses we have had for past programmes from national, regional and international visual artists, students, researchers and collectors.
